My Skincare Routine

Hello! Welcome back to my blog, in my introduction I was talking about how I’d like to go down the beauty route with this blog. Of course it won’t be entirely beauty but I want to do some occasionally.

As you can tell by the title, I would like to show you my skincare routine. The word ‘routine’ is being used lightly because I don’t do this everyday.

I hope you enjoy!

I just want to say this before we begin, I have combination skin. Normal to Oily, this is what suits my skin. Some I’ve only just started using and some I’ve been using for a while.

Okay, now let’s actually begin.

So, I wear makeup 4 or 5 times a week, for college and basically whenever I’m bored. To take off my makeup, I use regular makeup wipes which because I take a beauty course my teacher has actually informed me about how makeup wipes isn’t ideal for taking off makeup. Just using a makeup wipe alone WILL NOT take off all of it and will clog your pores. I do really recommend micellar water but because I’m kind of not the best at taking advice, I still use them as it’s fast and easy. But I use other skincare products so it doesn’t seem that bad.

Usually a good skincare routine would include; Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser and Exfoliator and the masks once or twice a week.

However, if you do not do this, it isn’t the end of the world. I don’t do this all the time, only in college I ever do that routine. Wearing makeup isn’t the best for your skin, especially if you wear it everyday but if you’re a makeup addict like me, having a good skincare ‘routine’ is important.

If you have any questions, I’d love to answer them in the comments below.

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you again soon.

Lau x

  1. I feel I am the only person out there who doesn’t actually use wipes to take off my makeup, I have never seen the appeal of taking my makeup off with one of them, I just doesn’t feel right haha. But great post, I hate typing these bits, but I do have a blog about beauty, mental health and random stuff.
    Thanks 🙂
