Hello! It’s Lau and today I will be talking about makeup. I haven’t talked about makeup yet so I thought I’d start off simple before I get into the makeup looks.
In this post I will be recommending 10 makeup products, it will be mostly drugstore but I have a few highend products I have tried and loved.
Without further or do, let’s begin
Top 5 Makeup Products I recommend
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
This is a product that isn’t really beginner friendly, but it is quite good if you want a clean bold brow. Since going back to blonde ombre, the shade I have is a little dark so I don’t use it as often anymore. It’s around £20, depending on where you get it from.
Beauty Bay sell it, if you live in the UK like me then beauty bay might be your best option.
2. Revlon ColorStay Foundation
I have tried MANY foundations but this is by far my favourite. It has a medium coverage, and it’s the only foundation I’ve ever tried that is an exact match to my skin. I was very surprised. Here is the shade range.
There’s not many shades for darker complexions which is not at all okay, but Revlon ColorStay is a great foundation that I do recommend.
3. Revolution Flawless 3 Resurrection Eyeshadow Palette
I LOVE this palette! I couldn’t recommend it enough, it has so many beautiful colours and the packaging is rose gold and the mirror is big. If you have blue eyes like me then the oranges and reds in this palette make your eyes really pop. It has the perfect shades for a brown smokey eye. The only negatives I can think of is that it doesn’t have a black eyeshadow, I love to smoke out my eyeliner but there is a dark brown which does the same job I just prefer a black eyeshadow. This palette is only £8, I got it from Superdrug.
4. Loreal Lip Lacquer
The shade Bonnie is perfect for natural makeup. It’s sort of leaves a lovely rosey stain behind. It has a perfect applicator. I really recommend this. It is around £7.
5. Maybelline The Colossal Big Shot Mascara
This is a mascara I’ve been using everyday, it adds volume and length and holds a curl all day. I’ve never had a problem with it, it doesn’t flake on me. It is around £8 which is really good.
Anyways, that is the end of this post. Tell me in the comments if you have tried any of these products and what you think of them, or you haven’t and want to try some!
Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you again soon.
