It’s Lau. And welcome to Blogmas Day Five, today I wanted to do a get ready with me as I get ready for a little party I have to go to.. (I don’t, I just needed an excuse)
So, if you like to hear me talk about Christmas and see what products I’ve been using then keep on reading.
Get Ready With Me *Christmas Edition*
Hello, I am about to get ready and it will take me twice as long because I’m writing everything down to.
Okay, let’s get started. I need to start by washing my face because it just seems logical, I need to cleanse and exfoliate.
Anyways, whilst I’m doing this let’s talk about Christmas. So what are you all doing for Christmas this year? Are you spending it away from home? Are any of you throwing any parties or going to any? I’m not really.
I’ve just finished that, and now I’m onto moisturising and priming. I’m using the Nivea moisturiser and the Benefit Porefessional primer.
Anyways, this year I won’t be doing much, and not yet do I feel very Christmasy. I have only just started Christmas shopping, I still have more to do but I’m holding off for now.
Now onto foundation, I have been using the Rimmel Lasting Finish in Soft Beige because I’m quite tanned and it matches rather well.
The reason I’m holding it off is because I still haven’t got much of an idea what else to get. The person I’m shopping for is very picky so it’s not easy.
Onto makeup, let apply concealer. Which is the Revolution Conceal + Define in C3 and then I’m setting it with the MUA translucent setting powder.
I’m doing fairly well at shopping for them, but as I said it’s not easy. I ended up asking for help in the end.
Anyways, makeup. I then move onto bronzer, blush and highlight Which are all by Sleek just in different palettes.
I’m not as into makeup as I once was, so on a daily basis I do very simple makeup.
So, I ended up asking for help and it did help because I asked one of our friends to help. We ended up walking around multiple times, and into the same shops multiple times.
Anyways, next I need to do the eyes. I just applied a cookiedough colour into my crease and then added some mascara. I want the look to be more focused on the bold lips.
So, after looking around I found a few things that was just acceptable by my standards. I’m still not finished but I will continue it next week.
Okay, now onto the lips. When I think of Christmas makeup, usually red comes to mind. So I applied a red lipstick and that’s it.
Thank you for reading this rant/almost helpful Get Ready With Me.
I will see you tomorrow.
