Halloween Night In – Blogtober Week Three

It’s Lau. And today I want to talk about the best way to spend your Halloween night if you are not doing anything special.

I hope you enjoy!

Halloween Night In

If you’re not going to a Halloween party or going out trick or treating, then you’ll probably be indoors bored.

I know how to spice up your Halooween night, with a few essentials.

1. Movies!

Grab some Halloween movies whilst you’re at the shop. Spend your night having a movie night.

2. Sweets and Snacks

Whilst you’re at the shop, grab a tonne of sweets and snacks. Probably a lot of sweets are gone but go a bit earlier and grab as much as you can.

3.Candles and the lights off

Light some candles and turn the lights off, this will make everything so much better for a horror movie! And it smells great.

4. Invite some friends over

Bring a couple of friends around, spook eachother and just have fun.

I hope this was in anyway useful, it will make your Halloween so much better.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

And I will see you again soon.

Drugstore Haul

It’s Lau. And last Saturday I went makeup shopping and picked up a few things and I want to show you.

This is my first haul so I hope you like it.

Drugstore Haul

I went into Superdrug looking for some fake eyelashes. I was successful and I found what I believe is the best drugstore lashes I’ve ever seen.

These are so beautiful, they were around £8 and look so fluttery and just really lovely. I recommend this to anyone whose looking to buy some cheap good eyelashes.

I then bought my usual favourite foundation which needs no explanation of why I love it.

Because I needed new eyelash glue, I quickly picked up the Superdrug lash glue. It works just as good as Duo eyelash glue.

I was on the hunt for a setting spray so I bought the Barry M Flawless Mist & Fix Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray.

I can’t say I’d recommend this one. It is my first Barry M product I bought, it smells like hairspray and after you set your face don’t, I repeat don’t use your beauty blender to blend it in a bit more. It disturbs the makeup underneath.

Lastly, I bought the MUA Pressed Powder.

It sets the face well, it is only £1. It does crumble a little bit when you put a brush to it but I’m bot very fussed on that.

Anyways, that is my haul. Thank you very much for reading. If I could recommend anything, I very much recommend the false lashes. I really love them.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you all on Monday.

May Favourites

It’s Lau and May is gone and June is just beginning. I had a few favourites this May which I would like to share with you.

May Favourites

1. Charcoal Peel Off Face Mask

The first thing I have been loving is a charcoal peel off face mask. It hurts..a lot but it works. It doesn’t take very long to dry and it unclogs the pores.

2. Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic Elements

This is a very pigmented palette. It has all neutral tones and blends marvellously. I believe it is only around £4.

3. MUA LUXE Velvet Lip Lacquer in Dash

This is a rosey pink shade which is really lovely. It smells like Calpol to me, if you’ve tried this then tell.me in the comments if you agree or not. It’s a really good formula.

4. Sleek Bronze Block in Light

I’ve had this for a while but I rarely used it, but around a week or two ago I gave it another try and I like it. It’s got a good amount of pigment and could easily be used for a burnt orange eyeshadow which I sometimes do. I recommend it.

So that’s all I have for this post. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post.

I will see you all on Monday.

I Answer Your Questions -Q&A

It’s Lau. And today I will be doing a Q&A, I asked on Twitter for some questions and this is what you sent me.

Let’s answer your questions!

1. What’s your favourite thing to do?

My favourite thing to do is watch storyline gameplays, I started getting into it when I was in school and I’ve been interested in it ever since.

2. Have you ever had a different blog than the one you have now? And what was your topics when you first started blogging?

The answer to the first question is, no. I have not had a blog before this one. This is my first one. And, when I first started blogging I wanted it strictly to be beauty based but whilst writing my first post, I sort of changed my mind.

3. Are you team Lanny or Laurel?

If you’ve been on the internet at all in the past few days then you might of seen the debate on “Do you hear Yanny or Laurel?” And I hear both. At first I heard Laurel but I heard it again later on that day, I heard Yanny. So, to answer your question. Both.

4. I know this might be weird. But have you ever done your eyebrows? (shaped or trimmed) If, yes tell me about your first experience.

Yes. Yes I have. My first experience is a little embarrassing but I’ll tell you anyways.

The first time I tried doing my eyebrows was when I was 13 or 14 and it was very much a fail. I didn’t have tweezers and I did it in basically the dark. How did you do it if you didn’t have any tweezers? 😂 Oh god, well I used my hands. I tried to use my nails and it was awful. It didn’t pull the hairs out, or just trimmed them so it wasn’t really successful. The eyebrow shape was like a pencil and really arched so it was basically a semi circle. Needless to say, I did get teased for that a little bit.

5. Opinion on football and rugbyand people’s obsession with it?

I love football and rugby. I used to play football when I was younger with my sibling and rugby I’ve always wanted to play but none of my siblings would play because I was a little too rough with it. As far as people’s passions for both sports, I think it’s great. It’s a lot of fun to play.

That’s all th questions I have for this post, thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post. I’ll see you all soon.

April Favourites

Hello! It’s Lau and April is coming to an end, I actually have some makeup, food and basically anything favourites this month and I’d like to share them with you.

1. Makeup Revolution Stick Foundation

I’ve only just done a review on this but I’m really liking it. It’s full coverage and sits well on the skin.

2. Nivea Soothing Cleansing Mousse

This is by far my favourite cleanser that I’ve tried. It makes removing my makeup effortless and it’s a mousse so it’s kind of fun.

3. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush

I don’t really ever use dry shampoo but because I’m washing my hair less because I’ve recently coloured it, I’m gravitating towards dry shampoo. It’s fast, easy and smells great.

4. Hot Water Bottle

This one is a little strange but I love my hot water bottle, it is by far my favourite thing I own. It’s really really helpful to me.

5. Fajitas

I had these a couple of weeks ago, I had never really tried it and I did it with Quorn meat (not real meat) and i loved it.

I feel like 5 is a good place to stop, tell me some of your favourites!

Anyways, thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you all soon.
