Soph x Revolution Palette Review

It’s Lau, and it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I do have an explanation for this, I haven’t had any internet since last Tuesday. I’m really sorry about that between this time, I have collected a few makeup products which I am excited of them being the Soph x Revolution Palette.

The Soph x Revolution palette was created by a Youtuber called SophDoesNails and I have been watching her for a while, before she came out with this palette. She is part of the Revolution team, making frequent videos for the Makeup Revolution Youtube Channel.

And now onto the review;

I picked up this palette at Superdrug for £10, the colour selection is well put together.

And onto the quality of the shadows, the metallic shadows are very pigmented that you wouldn’t even need to use anything to make it more pigmented. The mattes are easy to blend and are also very pigmented, it is very fair to say this is my new favourite palette.

The mirror is big and very clear to see any imperfections which is a pro and con.

But overall, I love this palette and will be using it again.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

And I will see you all soon.

College Ends..Where Now?

It’s Lau. And today I want to share with you my experience with college and where I’m going when it ends.

So, as I’m writing this I have less then a week left until I finished my course and I have to adventure out into the land of being an adult and I’m not sure I’m even ready.

I’ve been in college for two years and I can’t say they’ve been easy. At first, I never wanted to go to college. I already had enough of school and college was the last thing on my mind but I realised that because of my anxiety I can’t get a job so.. college it was.

I always knew I wanted to do SFX however the only course that was SFX was very hard to get on and it was almost impossible for me to get but that’s the one I am on now.

I went through a year of half hairdressing and half beauty therapy. I really didnt mind it, it was fun and I liked the teachers. But it wasn’t what I wanted to do.

Skip to the course I am on now, it’s the hightest level you can get on. And let me tell you, it’s so much work. Work experience, a lot of writing, an event. We haven’t had a lesson where we don’t work, in my old course most of it was like that.

But at the end I get a certificate which tell me I am certified to do media makeup, that’s a cool thing to accomplish.

But my last assignment is on Friday and we have to go in the following Monday just to make sure we have everything up-to-date.

So, when college ends..where am I going with my life?

My dream is to be earning money from what I love doing..blogging. However, I’m no where near close to even getting accepted to earn money through WordAds. But that’s doesn’t mean I’m going to stop trying.

Of course there is pressure on me to get a job from my father, which he understands nothing about my anxiety and thinks I’m making it all up because he believe I’m just lazy.

I’m sure everything will turn out okay, I still believe that.

I think I’m going to end this post here.

Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed.

I will see you all tomorrow!

All Out Makeup Look

It’s Lau. And today I felt like going all out with my makeup, so false lashes, extra highlight..ect. I just wanted to spend a lot of time on my makeup.

And today, I will be talking you through and showing you what I did.

(A lot of the products I used, I bought on Saturday and will doing a haul soon so that is why I am not mentioning them)

Without further or do, let’s begin.

All Out Makeup Look

1. I started off by moisturising the skin, to prepare it. I didn’t apply and primer.

2. I’ve beem recently starting with the eyes so I applied my concealer over the lid and setting it with a white eyeshadow.

3. I then applied a cool tone brown eyeshadow into the crease, focusing on the outer corner.

4. I them applied a warm brown eyeshadow just above the cool tone brown and blending it out.

5. I then put a slightly yellow toned eyeshadow in the inner corner.

6. Then applying winged liner and adding mascara and then false lashes.

It turned out like this;

7. Then I started on the base. I applied my stick foundations and added a slighter darker foundation because it was just a little too light.

8. I then put my concealer on, in a triangle under my eyes. On the bridge of my nose, forehead and chin.

9. I applied cream blush, and cream contour and blended it out with a sponge.

10. I then put on my powder all over my face.

11. Then applying powder contour, bronzer, blush and highlight.. going extra with the highlight.

12. And finally the lips. I applied a rosey toned pink and a lighter pink matte lipstick. With lip balm on top.

13. I said that was final, but I lastly applied a setting spray.

And that’s it. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post.

I will see you on Wednesday.

How To : Glowy Face Base

It’s Lau. And I am very aware that the title doesn’t really make too much sense, I will explain that.

It’s summer, everyone is looking for a glowy look especially your face makeup. I want to show you ways on how to do that!

How To : Glowy Face Base

1. Start by moisturising the skin, it will help.

2. Apply some sort of illumator to the skin and buff that into your skin. It’ll give you a beautiful glow.

3. Use a BB Cream or Illumating foundation.

4. Powder under the eye and in any places you get oily.

5. Spray a setting spray or just some water all over you face.

6. Now cream highlighter, using a damp beauty blender blend that onto all the high points of your face.

7. Apply cream blush and contour. Lightly set it.

8. Powder highlight, for that extra pop.

And that’s pretty much it for the glow, this is really amazing for dry skin especially because it’s summer time.

Thank you all so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post.

And I will see you all soon.
