Halloween Night In – Blogtober Week Three

Hello!

It’s Lau. And today I want to talk about the best way to spend your Halloween night if you are not doing anything special.

I hope you enjoy!

———————————————————–

Halloween Night In

If you’re not going to a Halloween party or going out trick or treating, then you’ll probably be indoors bored.

I know how to spice up your Halooween night, with a few essentials.

1. Movies!

Grab some Halloween movies whilst you’re at the shop. Spend your night having a movie night.

2. Sweets and Snacks

Whilst you’re at the shop, grab a tonne of sweets and snacks. Probably a lot of sweets are gone but go a bit earlier and grab as much as you can.

3.Candles and the lights off

Light some candles and turn the lights off, this will make everything so much better for a horror movie! And it smells great.

4. Invite some friends over

Bring a couple of friends around, spook eachother and just have fun.

I hope this was in anyway useful, it will make your Halloween so much better.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

And I will see you again soon.

Paranormal Experiences I’ve Had – Blogtober Week Two

Hello!

It’s Lau. And welcome to Week Two of Blogtober, this week I want to so something scary and talk about my paranormal experiences.

I hope you enjoy.

———————————————————–

My Paranormal Experiences

I’ve had a few paranormal experiences, for most of my childhood I lived in a rather creepy house.

The normal things where you hear tapping and noises but I used to talk to people that used to exist. I have no memory of this since I was young but I was talking to my mother and she explained it all.

I find the paranormal interesting but not interesting enough to go on ghost huntings myself.

I’ve never done a ouiji board (is how you spell it?) but I do believe in ghosts and the paranormal but not a lot really. The television shows exaggerate things.

Tell me your paranormal experiences down below.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

I will see you soon.

My Plans For Halloween And Christmas

Hello!

It’s Lau. And I feel like it has been a very long time since I’ve made a post, this isn’t really beauty or hair related but I would like to talk about my Halloween and Christmas plans.

I’ve seen a lot of people talk about it on Twitter, Halloween is next month and Christmas isn’t really close but I would like to let you guys know if I will be doing Blogmas and Blog-tober. Is that their names? I’ll just refer to them as that.

And the answer is..

YES

I will be doing it, even though I’m rather busy I will be attempting it. It just means a lot of planning ahead.

I’m super excited for the Halloween and Christmas, cold seasons are my absolute favourite.

But anyways, you will expect more real posts soon. I will be doing that but I just wanted to let you know this before anything else goes up.

I hope you enjoyed this post, thank you so much for reading.

I will see you all soon.

Paying Blogging Jobs

Hello!

It’s Lau. And today I want to do a really helpful post on blogging jobs, particularly paying ones.

As a blogger it can really be difficult to find companies that want to work with you, let alone pay you.

However, there’s one website that can really help you out with that, and that is Get Blogged.

You can sign up to it at Blogger Outreach, it’s really easy. You can link up your website and Paypal, so when you have submitted your blog post for a company, they can pay you when it has been accepted.

I use this website and I really like it! The way it works is on your DA. DA meaning Domain Authority. It ranges from DA5 to DA40, the higher your DA the more you get payed.

You’ll have to check it out for yourself, I really do recommend it.

Paid blogging jobs – click on this link to learn more.

Once you’ve signed up you will see opportunities that you can apply to.

You will be able to earn money effectively!

This website is designed for brands and blogger, if you have a brand that you would like bloggers to promote then you can sign up as a brand. It will help out your business!

It’s super easy to sign up to and you can begin earning money effectively, and brands to promote!

It’s hard as a blogger to start earning money, not just monetising your blog but working with brands hoping they want to work with you too. With Get Blogged it makes it 10 times easier to get that opportunity.

And with brands, it’s so difficult to put yourself out there as a brand, signing up to Get Blogged can really help you won’t regret it!

You can get more information at the Get Blogged website which I have linked, it’s free to sign up to!

Bloggers have spent years growig their website, spending time and a lot of effort making their website something they’re proud of. As a brand, all you have to do is write a description of what your brand is and describe the post you would like them to create and then when bloggers are scrolling through the opportunities they can apply to yours, if they’re interested in what your brand is and they’d like to write a post.

Your DA must be the number or over to apply. For example, a brand wants someone with DA5 or over. If you have that DA you can apply.

It’s as simple as that.

Apply now! It’s honestly an awesome website, that I have grown to love and appreciate.

If you’re interested then do apply, as I said it’s free.

Thank you so much for reading, this was a sponsored post. Luckily, I got to work with Get Blogged themselves. I am very grateful for this opportunity. All opinions are my own, I do use this website.

Again, thank you so much for reading and I will see you all again soon.

Life Of Blogging Documentary – Part One

Hello!

It’s Lau and todays post is nothing like I’ve ever done before, I want to really get in depth about life as a blogger and make a documentary out of it.

There will be parts to it, I want to interview a lot of people so if you’re up for it then please let me know.

So, without further or do.. Lets begin this adventure.

Life of Blogging Doctumentary

To start this story, we should really know when did blogging first come about? Who created the first blog?

It was even called a blog at first, it was called ‘Personal Homepage’ and Justin Hall first created Links.net. I actually wanted to include him in this post to ask him some questions about blogging.. So I actually tried to contact him and I didn’t get an answer back.

Before I get onto talking to other bloggers, ex bloggers and active bloggers I want to talk about my experience.

My Experience

I haven’t been blogging for very long but for the last 5 months I’ve really learnt a lot about blogging, life outside of blogging and the other bloggers. It’s very safe to say that blogging is always on my mind.. “What should I post?” “Should I go out in the pool or do some blogging stuff?”

That was a genuine thought I had today and I chose blogging because I love it. It’s very much my first priority. Around my second month of blogging, I wanted to get a plan. I thought it would make me a lot more professional because now my URL doesn’t end in “wordpress.com” instead it is “.com” and I love that aspect of it. Of course, because I’ve upgraded to personal.. now my mind id on premium. I always want the best for my blog.

Now that I’ve rambled on, I want to go onto other people’s experiences.

Diary Of Ellie

I asked a few questions and here are her answers.

Do you find yourself checking your stats a lot? Her answer: I check my stats a lot, probably more than I should!

How has blogging made you feel? Has it made you feel frustrated at time? The only ever times I become frustrated with it is when I’m trying to photograph products for posts and when I can’t get the shot I like it annoys me so much.

Do you feel part of the community?I’m pretty much always feel included in the community and I love it!

What is life like outside of blogging? For me, I’m always thinking about what post I should do next? I tend to make a lot of ‘real life’ decisions based on blogging so if I see a new makeup product I Like, I think about whether it would make a good blog post, although I do have a life away from blogging I think they’re both slowly integrating into one.

Alex

I asked her a few questions. Here are her answers;

You’re anonymous. Have you ever had any moment of panic where you thought someone knew your identity? Oh 100% — when I first started, I gave away so much information about myself that it was crazy. Looking back, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone found out – but if they are then they’re doing a good job hiding it😂I wouldn’t mind becoming unhidden but I don’t know, I like the mystery.

What’s the lowest point where you wanted to quit? And have you ever written that post but stopped yourself? I’ve actually never even thought about quitting – I mean, sometimes I can’t be bothered to type up posts (hence the spelling mistakes) but I love to share my life with my followers and I love hearing their feedback so quitting is the last thing on my mind right now.

Have you had a hate comment? If so, did it affect you? I’ve never had one – I mean, spam can be pretty weird but that’s about it. I think even if I were to have one, it wouldn’t affect me because everyone is bound to have an opinion and there’s no stopping that.

If you could change one thing about the blogging community, what would it be? People just blogging for the sake of being popular. I think there should be a goal or a reason as to why you’re blogging – not just to be a cool kid if that makes sense?

This has turned into a really long blog post, so I’m going to end it here. Look out for Part Two of this documentary post.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed and I will see you all soon.
